Just got an email from soapcalc saying the app is not affiliated with soapcalc and its an illegal knockoff from someone in Russia.

Using Palm K Flakes the numbers are about 5x, off the chart. Some Oc the others are off also. The weight slider does not work. I would not trust this app on a batch of soap!

Slider to resize only works when you are in grams mode. Visual bugs when you save a recipe. No option for percentages. Oh well.

This app would be just about perfect if I could plug in a recipe for a 5lb soap but then simply resize it down to a pound or whatever other amount. Please add the ability to easily resize a saved recipe. ** Discrepancies in SAP values of oils, especially the Palm Kernel Oil Flakes. Please correct this!! ** App keeps crashing and usually that lasts for a day or more. Please resolve your host server issues!!

I have used this app for a while and it did a great job until today. It just does not load. I needed to use it for a recipe today :(

This app no longer works on the latest OS on iPad. Dont buy it until they fix it!!

When I first started using soap calc pro , I enjoyed formulating different soaps, though I have yet to make the recipe. The last few days the app will not go past the title page. I have tried deleting the program and reloading it but it does not work. Good luck trying to find the sellers information so you can notify them.

The ipad update wont work with soap calc....cant open program or access any of my saved recipes...guess I have learned not to save my recipes in this program, I will find something else, lost months of work

I lived this app and had several recipes saved on it, but it seems the app is no longer compatible with the newest iOS.

Just found out today (after feeling bumped out the whole day yesterday spending $2.99 for an apps that doesnt work), in order to get this apps to open and functional, you must first turn-off your wi-fi/3G and set it to plane mode instead. Otherwise it wont open.

It was working fine and then just quit working on both my iPhone and iPad. Disappointing.

I really like this soap calc but it has lots of glitches. Doesnt open and shuts down. Despite deleting and redownloading I still have many problems. Its now inoperable. It would be a great app if glitches were fix. Needs an overhaul.

I update my Ipad with the new iOS 7.0.2 and my calculator does not open.

I like this app better than the online web version. It has the correct values for each ingredient as far as I can determine. It took a bit of getting used to, but I think this app has potential. The only issue I have is that I would like to be able to delete a recipe after modifying it.

This really was a great app!! I loved everything about i!!! But just after a week, it froze on the title screen and there is no customer service for help. Have tried rebooting and redownloading the app. Nothing works :((

I bought this app last night. It does not open. Id like a refund.

I really do like this app - when it works. Its helpful to have this info in app form but it crashes A LOT. All the time. In fact as of 12/27 I havent been able to open it at all. Im going to have to delete it and reinstall the app, which means I will lose all my saved recipes. Thats not good. Another issue I have with soap calc is that I sometimes want to enter percentages and have a calculator convert those into ounces for me. There are other soap calculators that can do this so I know it is possible. Lastly, I dont get the autocorrect feature. It always autocorrects to a lesser quantity to soap, usually a great deal less, than I started with in my original recipe. I get that it is changing my percentages but I can never figure out how to change my recipes to fit the quantities I need in addition to the percentages recommended. Update: 1/2/14 still cant open the app on iPhone or iPad. This is annoying. Im also starting to doubt the authenticity of this app. Ive been reading about the app on google and it doesnt sound like it is from the people who created soap calculator. It sounds like someone stole the data from soap calculator and made an app. That doesnt sit well with me. I hope it isnt true.

Love the way this app works and all the info it gives on each oil and what to expect from your recipe but it locks up! Please please please do a update! I have recipes I want that I cant get to!

I have not been able to use this app since I purchased it a few days ago. When I bring up the app on my phone or iPad...absolutely nothing happens! It doesnt open. Very disappointed. How can I get my money back, to spend on an app that actually works?

Some features never worked, like the sliding bar for ounces, or scrolling between oils while building a recipe. Now it wont open at all. Since I will never see a refund, Ill do my part to prevent others from wasting their money.
