App is hung

This app worked like a charm for well over a year but all at once the app will not open for iPad or iPhone. All are stuck in the start up page. There are no updates for this app not does there appear to be a way to contact the developer to report bugs. Other users have similarly reported this problem in the reviews but there seems to be no way to resolve the problem.

Update:
Was able to use again by turning wifi OFF, then go to the app. It should work again then go back and turn the wifi on again. Cant explain why this works but it saved me. I didnt lose any recipes and have been able to create and save new ones!
